Appel Farm Arts & Music Center is a regional arts center located on 176 acres near the town of Elmer in Salem County. Now in its 5th decade of operation, Appel Farm offers a Concert Series, an annual Arts & Music Festival, arts classes and workshops in the visual and performing arts, Family Matinees and other arts activities and events from September through June. Throughout the year, the Center provides a wide range of arts programs to public schools in the region and also functions as a Conference Center, offering its facilities for rental to groups for meetings, retreats and other programs. The Center is also the home of an internationally-recognized residential summer arts and music camp that was founded in 1960 by Albert and Clare Appel.
