Description

APET SPCA is a 501c (3) non-profit Texas corporation run solely by volunteers and has relied in the past on private funding for operating its rescue mission.

Our Mission is to:

? Help control the pet population through spaying and neutering programs
? Protect animals from cruelty, neglect, carelessness and ignorance
? Offer refuge, medical care, nourishment, and the opportunity for a second chance at life to unwanted animals in East Texas
? Foster a public sentiment of humanity and gentleness toward animals
? Encourage and promote responsible pet ownership
? Raise funding for construction of the Wood County APET SPCA shelter
