Description
We have a program called Comfort Food LA™ where we provide hot meal deliveries to those with HIV/AIDS, the elderly, ill, and disabled.
Our Community Meal Center is staffed by volunteers, under the supervision of a Le Cordon Bleu trained chef. It is a rewarding and uplifting experience to help feed our community.
We provide a location where residents in our surrounding area can come on a weekly basis and pick up an allotment of groceries. Parents with small children can bring in proof of their dependants to receive groceries for their families. We also deliver weekly groceries to those with HIV/AIDS, the elderly, ill, and the disabled which is part of our Comfort Food LA™ program. Volunteers donate their time and gas to help make a difference in a person’s life. If we work together as a community, we can make a huge difference in fighting the battle against hunger and homelessness. If you would like to help, please email volunteers@acalliance.org
