Aniridia Foundation International is a unique 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization dedicated to research, patient care, education and helping the low vision or blind population.
Aniridia Syndrome is a genetic disorder that is made up of common conditions in the general population such as glaucoma, corneal disease, cataracts, diabetes, metabolism issues and autism spectrum disorders. Therefore, our research program will help those with these conditions in the general public, as well as, those with aniridia syndrome who also experience these same conditions. Although we are a separate non-profit, Aniridia Foundation International's newest office is at the University of Virginia in the Department of Ophthalmology (Charlottesville, VA).
Please take a moment to set up the Aniridia Foundation International toolbar on your computer and spread the word too. Through GoodSearch and GoodShop we can raise money without you spending a dime...just through doing things you do everyday like online searches and online shopping. It's THAT EASY!
Take our Hands, Walk with Us, Share our Dreams, and Help Us Make a Miracle!
Note: Aniridia Foundation International DOES NOT pay any salaries / benefits so our overhead costs are minimal. All funds will go to our research program, patient care, education, and special projects for children with disabilities.
