Animal Welfare Association (AWA) has been "Caring for Animals.....Benefiting People" since 1948. www.awanj.org

AWA has an animal shelter caring for orphaned animals, a low cost spay/neuter clinic open to the public, a comprehensive humane education program and volunteers regularly visit nursing homes with animals. Operating the first mobile spay/neuter clinic in the state, AWA visits low income neighborhoods and other shelters and rescues taking affordable surgeries to them.
