The Animal Lovers Assistance League of Currituck County, North Carolina operates the municipal animal shelter for Currituck County, North Carolina.

Active in our community, the Animal Lovers Assistance League not only operates the Currituck County Animal Shelter and provides compassionate care, exercise and companionship to the wonderful animals available for adoption, we are dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals, the relief of suffering among animals and providing humane education.
It is a sad fact that many wonderful animals arrive at animal shelters across our state, so we promote animal adoption, spaying or neutering of companion animals as well as teaching our community important aspects of proper, humane animal care.
