Description
Animal Adoption League is a non-profit volunteer organization working hard to help homeless animals in the counties of Mecklenburg, NC, York, SC and surrounding areas. Some of the goals of the AAL are to provide veterinary care and temporary housing for dogs and cats as an alternative to the County Shelters. The League works to protect animals from neglect, abuse and cruelty while assisting other humane organizations in the investigation of these cases and to cooperate with law enforcement agencies and their activities related to animals. Other major goals of the AAL are to operate an effective spay-neuter program as well as to maintain an effective adoption program to include follow-up.
