Through the efforts of Angel’s Hope we are determined to see a time when the loss of innocent companion animal lives as a result of entering shelters, becoming homeless or suffering from abuse and neglect is zero.
We understand the financial burden of caring for companion animals with serious medical conditions. The purpose of Angel’s Hope is to keep pets in their homes and to save the lives of animals in shelters or that are homeless by providing pet guardians, animal rescue organizations and Good Samaritans with funding assistance for companion animals that need treatment for kidney or heartworm disease. We also provide funding to assist with the costs of spay/neuter procedures.
Provide funding assistance to pet guardians for medical expenses associated with heartworm or kidney disease and spay/neuter procedures; to encourage them to retain their pet(s) in their homes rather than relinquishing them to a shelter.
Provide funding assistance to animal rescue organizations for medical expenses associated with heartworm or kidney disease; to encourage them to pull more animals that may otherwise be euthanized due to these medical conditions.
Provide funding assistance to Good Samaritans for medical expenses associated with heartworm or kidney disease and spay/neuter procedures; to encourage them to potentially keep the animal or foster until a rescue or adoptive home can be secured.
Provide information in a non-confrontational and compassionate manner about humane issues and responsible pet care including; spaying/neutering, preventative care including heartworm prevention, taking responsibility for pets and ensuring their safety as well as the safety of persons they encounter, understanding what constitutes abuse or neglect and being proactive in reporting it to authorities.
