Andover Newton educates leaders from Protestant religious traditions for service in the church and the world. It is a pioneering institution, having created the current model of seminary education in 1807, and still cutting edge as it develops theological education in a multifaith context with Hebrew College on its campus in Newton Centre, MA. M.Div. students are required to complete at least one course in “border crossing” of cultures, economies or faiths. Related to the American Baptist and United Church of Christ denominations, Andover Newton also has a large percentage of Unitarian Universalist students. Join us in support of independent, progressive, multifaith theological education!
