Description

A non-profit agency providing health and human services programs to county residents. We currently manage 5 programs serving populations in age range from birth to senior citizens. We have a dental clinic that provides services for uninsured adults. Our Healthy Start program serves high risk first time parents with home visits to teach parenting skills and child development. Our Life Development Center has a ropes course and works with drug and alcohol patients learning to build self esteem and trust in others. The ACSESS/Breakaway program has a 10-week session for parent/teen group counseling, ending with a rough 4-day backpacking trip for the teens. We are starting a program to provide yearly eye exams for diabetics who have no insurance.
