Description

The mission of the Anaheim Amateur Figure Skating Association, (AAFSA), shall be to support and promote the amateur sport of synchronized ice skating by providing sponsorship, financial assistance and organizational support to synchronized skating teams who:
Compete in local, national and international competitions sanctioned by the US Figure Skating (USFS), the Ice Skating Institute (ISI) and the International Skating Union (ISU) and/or who perform synchronized ice skating exhibitions at public events and shows;
Provide to the public an organization where synchronized team skaters can come together for the purposes of training for amateur competition and exhibition;
Provide an environment where all skaters may enjoy the personal, social and athletic growth experience offered by synchronized team skating;
Are actively involved with engaging and providing facilities for others to become involved in the promotion of the rapidly growing sport of amateur synchronized ice skating.
