Description
Amped for Education Inc. was founded in September 2009 and became incorporated in the State of Massachusetts on December 7, 2009. Our goal is to expand education to impoverished areas of Nicaragua and throughout the world, while encouraging continuous learning of students beyond the sixth grade. Amped's primary focus is to include the community in the planning, construction, development, and operations of the schools. From local contractors and builders, to natives teaching in the classroom, a key aspect of Amped for Education involves working side by side with people, rather than simply for them.
