Description
The Mission of the American Stroke Foundation is to provide services that will improve a survivor’s level of rehabilitation and allow him/her to perform activities of daily living, resulting in more independence; reduce the survivor’s stress and isolation; improve his/her quality of life; educate the community about stroke and brain injury prevention and promote a healthier lifestyle; and partner with community healthcare professionals, universities, colleges, hospitals, and rehabilitation institutes in providing for the continuing needs of this population after hospitalization and rehabilitation treatments end.
