Description
The American-Romanian Partnership for Gender Equality (ARPGE) was founded in 2004 to promote gender equality and an end to gender-related violence. Together with our Romanian partner organizations, we are working to curb domestic violence, rape, sexual assault, sexual harassment, and gender discrimination in Romania.
ARPGE serves as a conduit for funds to deserving, progressive Romanian non-profit organizations. We fund initiatives such as public education campaigns, workshops, and seminars; job training; legal advocacy; and shelters or counseling centers for victims of abuse.
