Description
American Repertory Ensemble (ARE) is a cutting-edge ensemble of musicians and dancers dedicated to creating new models of the concert experience for audiences, students and performers alike. A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, ARE was formed in Austin, Texas in 2005 by choreographer David Justin and composer-conductor Rob Deemer. By combining the concepts of the contemporary dance concert and the contemporary chamber music concert with a vibrant, inclusive program of works, ARE seeks to attract, foster and challenge new audiences worldwide.
