Description
The Oregon Pacific Chapter of the American Red Cross is a humanitarian organization that provides relief to people who experience disasters and helps people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.
The chapter also provides many other vital community services. We offer First Aid, CPR and Water Safety Training. Our Youth Services programs prepare young people to deal with emergencies. Services to the Armed Forces relays emergencies messages to military personnel and their families. The chapter also supports the collection of 25,000 units of blood each year. With the help of more than 4,000 volunteers, the Oregon Pacific Chapter serves more than 50,000 people each year in Benton, Coos, Curry, Douglas, Lane, Lincoln and Linn counties.
