Description
The American Parkinson Disease Association Information and Referral Center of Oklahoma is a community service funded by the American Parkinson Disease Association, the Oklahoma State of Parkinson's Disease Association, Hillcrest Medical Center and private donations. The purpose of the Center is to provide information, referrals, and support to people with Parkinson's Disease and their families as well as to health professionals. The Center offers free educational materials, educational seminars, referrals to physicians, community resources and other health services. Supportive counseling as well as home visits for individual assessments are also a vital component of the Center.
