Description

American Maltese Association Rescue (AMA Rescue) is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit trust governed by a Board of Trustees. The American Maltese Association (AMA), the National AKC recognized parent breed club for Maltese, began a National Rescue Program for Maltese in 1995. Rescue is totally staffed by all volunteers, consisting of both AMA members and non-members who share a love for the breed and a commitment to ensure unwanted, homeless Maltese are placed in loving homes with a person knowledgeable in the care of a Maltese.
