American Indian Health provides health services to indigent Native and Non-Native Americans in Metro-Detroit. As a non- profit all of the proceeds American Indian Health receives goes to the betterment of poor children, elders, disadvantaged women and the homeless. Many disabled people, children and adults alike, receive benefits of our health care system. We provide dental care, medical care, pediatrics, child care, and rehabilitation services. Additional comprehensive behavioral health services are provided to thousands of addicted men and women. 90% of clientele do not have health care insurance and would otherwise have no where else to seek medical services. Services are provided by a team of culturally appropriate professionals trained specifically to work with Native American people.
