Description
The mission of Migdal Ohr (Hebrew for “Tower of Light”) is to illuminate a path to a better life for orphaned, abused and underprivileged children in Israel through individualized educational programs and social guidance. Migdal Ohr is Israel’s largest youth village serving nearly 7,000 children annually by providing free, essential services including shelter, food, clothing, outstanding educational programs and recreational activities.
For nearly 40 years, Migdal Ohr has served as a primary social welfare provider in Israel and has transformed the lives of well over 50,000 children. We operate 15 schools, 18 kindergartens and 7 toddler day care centers. Over 3,000 children are nurtured in full time living facilities on campus either in dorms or with foster parents in our highly acclaimed Foster Village.
