AFB's mission is to ensure that the millions of Americans living with vision loss enjoy the same rights and opportunities as other citizens. AFB works to meet the needs of today's growing blind and visually impaired population by advocating on their behalf, providing leadership and training to organizations and professionals who serve them, developing and promoting universally accessible technology, and providing specialized information to individuals with vision loss, their families, and caregivers.
