Description
The American Foundation for Aging Research is the only national charity exclusively supporting the education and research of young scientists conduction research into age-related diseases, and the biology of aging. The rapidly growing population of older Americans requires new and innovative approaches to health problems associated with aging. The Foundation since 1979 has been providing scholarships and fellowships to students conducting research in degree programs (Ph.D., M.D., M.S. and B.S.) in US institutions.
