The American Domestic Violence Crisis Line provides domestic violence intervention and crisis services to abused American women & children sufffering in foreign countries via the only international toll free domestic violence crisis line in operation in the USA, 866-USWOMEN. To call toll free from overseas, callers contact their local AT&T operator and ask to be connected.
The organization also provides danger to safety relocation in the form of airline flights back to the USA, payment of legal retainers to enable battered mothers to file for custody of their children and transitional housing.
