Description
The America SCORES Milwaukee mission is to empower students in urban communities using soccer, writing, creative expression, and service-learning. With teamwork as the unifying value, America SCORES inspires youth to lead healthy lifestyles, be engaged students, and become agents of change in their communities.
We are Milwaukee's only inner-city literacy and soccer program. Milwaukee SCORES is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that depends on donations. Your contributions make an impact in the lives of Milwaukee's urban youth.
America SCORES Milwaukee has 5 teams in the MPS school district. 16 boys and 16 girls per school receive 1.5 hours of after-school programming 5 days per week throughout the school year in the form of 2 writing workshops and 3 soccer sessions.
