Description
Amazon Vision Ministries (AVM) is a 501(c)3 organization incorporated under The State of Florida statutes for non-profit organizations. AVM carries teams of short term volunteers to work in the remote river villages of the Amazon River Basin in northern Brazil. AVM's mission is to carry the Hope of salvation through Jesus Christ to a lost people. This is accomplished through medical and dental clinics, health education, provision of clean drinking water, and direct evangelism and discipleship. Typically AVM will have 20 - 25 10 day trips/ year with departure and return through Miami, FL.
