Description
The Oregon Chapter's vision is to build the capacity of the Alzheimer's Association to better respond to the needs of the diverse populations we serve. Development of a Strategic Plan and its implementation over a three-year period (2003-2006) will move us strategically forward to accomplish the goals and objectives of the chapter's mission.
The population of the area served by the Oregon- Chapter is is 3,891,751 individuals, 70,000 of who are affected by dementia. The chapter serves an area that is nearly 97,760 square miles and consists of 37 counties.
Clients are served through the Helpline, Education Programs, Conferences, Support Groups, Safe Return, and Care Consultation.
