The mission of the Alzheimer's Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter is to enhance the quality of life of all persons affected by Alzheimer's disease and related disorders through compassionate, comprehensive services; effective advocacy; support for research; and access to current information and resources.
We service 24 counties in Northwest Ohio and have five offices.
Programs offered include adult day services, care consultation and counseling services, lending libraries and resource centers, respite financial assistance program, safe return program, support groups, caring companions - in-home volunteer respite program, early-stage programs, helpline, educational programs and training programs for professional caregivers. We are advocates for individuals who are impacted by Alzheimer's disease and related disorders and support research for treatment, cure, and prevention of the disease.
