Description
Backed by a decade of philanthropic work, the ALO Cultural Foundation was founded in 2008 to build stronger, healthier communities through social investment. The Foundation focuses on community outreach and educational programs that empower women and mentor youth in the U.S. and in Middle Eastern countries. By doing so, we aim to promote cultural understanding and friendship between these two regions.
The Foundation was founded by Wafa Kanan, President of Unique Image Inc. and publisher of ALO magazine.
Our mission is to educate, empower and enlighten members of disadvantaged global communities, with special emphasis on the U.S. and the Middle East. We heal emotional, physical and cultural challenges while impacting the quality of life for everyone we encounter.
