Description
ACC&D, a 50ac3 non-profit organization seeks new ways to save the lives of dogs and cats, through non-surgical methods of sterilization for pet population control.
Sterilization is the best way to prevent the birth of unwanted litters of kittens and puppies who suffer abandonment and all too often, death. Providing this through surgery is labor intensive, complex to deliver, not affordable in many situations, and requires invasive surgery for animals.
ACC&D believes the availability of safe and effective non-surgical contraceptives would be an extremely valuable addition to this effort, providing advantages in implementation in hard to serve areas at a reduced cost. Development of these lifesaving products has never before received the support needed to be fulfill its potential
ACCD works to identify promising technologies, and seeks funding for the development required to create, safe, effective and humane tools to save pets lives.
