Description

The Alliance Against Homelessness is a small private, non-profit agency that provides permanent housing to seriously mentally ill homeless individuals. We provide group homes in various towns in Bergen County, NJ. The residents share the commmon areas of the house, but each person has their own bedroom. Currently we are serving 20 adults. We receive funding from Housing and Urban Development and Bergen County Development Block Grant funding. Each year the Government reduces our funding and we need funds from individuals and groups in order to continue our work.
