Description

The Allen Temple Baptist Church AIDS Ministry, a faith-based organization, seeks to combat the fear, prejudice and lack of knowledge that surrounds HIV/AIDS by providing critical medical and social services, as well as prevention awareness education. Our efforts focus deeply and solely on two geographic areas of the world presently in crisis: East Oakland, California and Zimbabwe, Africa.

Locally in East Oakland and surrounding communities we provide: HIV/AIDS medical and social services and prevention awareness education to people at risk, especially high-risk youth and young adults. East Oakland Collaborative

Internationally in Zimbabwe we provide: HIV/AIDS medical treatment, life-saving HIV/AIDS anti-retroviral medication and prevention awareness education to Africans in grave need, as well as essential living support to orphaned children.
