Description
The HOPE Center is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit agency providing supportive services to survivors of domestic violence and their children. These services include 24 hour hotline, immediate crisis intervention, emergency shelter, legal advocacy, support groups, referrals for housing, transitional housing, presentation and trainings for the community and violence prevention programs in schools.
Services are provided in the Alle-Kiski Valley area which includes portions of Allegheny and Westmoreland Counties in Southwestern Pennsylvania. HOPE has been providing support for survisors since 1979 and touched the lives of 22,800 people that included 2,787 victims of domestic violence in 2004-2005.
