Alief Kerr High School is unlike your typical high school. Instead of having a teacher teach the class, like a traditional school, the students are given PAKS (personal activity kits) and do them themselves. Basically the students teach themselves. Funding for the school is pretty low, as each center (ex: English, Social Studies, Science...) each have their own subject. The school is really small with only about 800 students and is the smallest high school in Harris county district.
