Description

The Alexandria Symphony Orchestra is a critically acclaimed orchestra in the Washington DC metropolitan area. The fully professional orchestra directed by Maestro Kim Allen Kluge presents five subscription concerts each year, a Pops concert, a children's holiday concert, a children's festival and education concerts. Next year students ages 8 tp 18 will be able to attend the Sunday matinee concert series for $15 per student. The orchestra presents an innovative, multiarts program that relates symphonic music to other art forms such as painting, literature, dance, and drama. The orchestra makes of point of out reach and education for children believing that only by educating our youth will the love of symphonic music survive.
