Description
We are a Federal 501(c)3 and New York State non-profit dedicated to promoting the benefits and connection of green living, plant-based diets, and animal advocacy. The AVN sponsors the annual NY's Capital Region Vegetarian Expo which, in its first year, attracted over 3,000 attendees in one day! Our speakers are nationally known and published physicians/surgeons, registered dieticians, researchers, professors, and activists. All monies raised go directly to the Expo - there are no salaries expenses as we are an all-volunteer organization.
