Description
The Alaska Botanical Garden is a far-northern public garden dedicated to enhancing the beauty and value of plant material through education, preservation, recreation, and research. Northern horticulture and native plants are showcased throughout a 110 acre spruce and birch woodland in Anchorage, Alaska. The Garden offers a variety of educational programs for all ages. ABG has three hardy perennial gardens, an alpine Rock garden, Herb Garden, Wildflower Trail, and 1 mile Lowenfels Family Nature Trail loop.
