The Alabama Environmental Council (AEC) is a solution oriented organization that empowers companites, institutions and individuals to reduce waste, conserve Alabama's finite resources, live responsibly and encourage others to become engaged. AEC initiates action, provides leadership and provides powerful grassroots support by promoting sustainability, working to improve policy and creating a culture in Alabama in which there is incentive to engage in sustaibable and responsible consumption and production.
