Description
The Alabama Association of Habitat Affiliates (AAHA) is the state support organization for the Habitat for Humanity affiliates from across the state of Alabama. AAHA serves as a clearinghouse of information between affiliates, develop resources (personnel, funds and in-kind donations) for affiliates and help new affiliates get started. AAHA began in 1992 with 10 affiliates and today there are 36 operating affiliates, giving service to all major cities in Alabama. Currently, these affiliates are building more than 100 homes per year for very low-income families.
