Description
Agricultural Missions, Inc. is a 76-year old ecumenical non-profit organization that accompanies rural people internationally and in the U.S. to address the structural causes of poverty and powerlessness. While supporting rural peoples in their struggles to improve their lives and their communities, Agricultural Missions also serves the churches by providing education and information for advocacy, action and support. There is a special emphasis on the role of women in agriculture and community decision making. We help build the capacity of rural peoples' organizations to address the problems their communities face through training, network connections with other organizations, small grants and advocacy.
