Description
AGAP (Anacostia Gracous Arts Program) is a DC-based 501c3 that works with underpriviledged youth in Ward 7's Benning Heights neighborhood. We use the arts as a tool for positive self-expression, community outreach, talent-development, self-reflection, conflict-resolution, maturation encouragement, academic enrichment, social interaction, and spiritual growth.
We believe in and foster an atmosphere of one-on-one mentoring as we introduce our students to the world outside of their current "normal;" and encourage the belief that their new "normal" can be as limitless as their God-given artistic and personal talents.
