The African Millennium Foundation – AMF - is a strategic non-profit and non- governmental organization committed to the social and economic empowerment of the people of Africa, especially women. AMF works in partnership with grassroots organizations in Africa to support locally conceived microcredit programs that promote sustainable development on the continent while generating a sense of ownership and agency among African women.
AMF was created to bring sustainable, long-term development to grassroots organizations in Africa. We encourage partnership at the community level to extend opportunity to those who have been forsaken by traditional forms of economic development.
