Mission: To preserve, promote, publicize and educate the public on the heritage of African Americans in Iowa. The Museum offers educational programming statewide, including traveling exhibits, lecture series, preschool/ elementary/ middle school workshops, as well as hosts a variety of events and conferences throughout the year. The Museum building features two galleries- changing and permanent-, the Nikee Museum Store, and the Aldeen Davis Celebration Hall.
