Description
ABC works to prevent the extinction of birds. This involves three different activities:
1. funding conservation projects outside US
2. creating educational information on birds for schools and universities
3. captive breeding of Madagascar vasa parrots, coracopsis vasa, in order to create a viable gene pool, since their habitat in the wild is disappearing.
