Description
The Advocacy Center for Crime Victims and Children in Waco, Texas works to bring about healing to children and adults who are victims of crime and to facilitate change to end violence through advocacy, collaboration, and community awareness.
Originally established in 1976 as the Waco Rape Crisis Center, the 501(c)(3) umbrella agency has evolved into four programs: the Children’s Advocacy Center, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), The Victims Center, and Prevention and Education, collectively offering many services to children and victims of crime in McLennan, Hill, Falls, Limestone, Bosque and Freestone counties.
