Description
For over 35 years, Adult Literacy Advocates has been serving our community. We offer one-on-one tutoring and small group instruction. Classes offered are Basic Literacy, Job Readiness, Senior Life Skills, Parenting Issues, Health Issues, and Reading & Writing through the Bible. Newly literate adults become better parents, employees and citizens. Their increased earning power provides a positive influence to their children. With more than 100,000 adults in our community reading at or below the 5th grade level, there is much work to be done.
