Description

Adopt A Rescued Pet, Inc. is an all-volunteer non-profit organization designated a 501 (C) (3) by the IRS. AARPI was founded in 2004 by a group of experienced volunteers devoted to saving animals in Citrus County, Florida. Informing & educating the public regarding responsible & compassionate pet ownership is a part of all organizational activities. Our goal is to improve the quality of life for homeless animals in our county by finding homes and loving families - for a lifetime.

Each animal we take in is cared for by volunteer foster "moms and dads".
Veterinary care is provided for medical conditions as recommended by our participating veterinarians. All rescued pets are spayed or neutered to reduce pet overpopulation. Pets are micro-chipped and registered with 24 Hour Pet Watch.
