Description
Actors’ Playhouse Productions is the resident Equity Theatre Company and managing agent of the historic Miracle Theatre in Coral Gables. Our 501c3 charitable non-profit organization is one of eight major State regional theatres, a Florida Cultural Sponsoring Organization, the largest professional producing company in South Florida, and one of 21 major cultural institutions in Miami-Dade County. Awarded “The Best Theatre Company in South Florida” in 2008 for overall artistic excellence and community outreach, Actors’ Playhouse is highly regarded by the critics and the professional community. Our organization presents six Mainstage and five Children’s Theatre productions each year, an annual National Children’s Theatre Festival, a Theatre Conservatory, educational arts community outreach projects, while also managing rentals of other groups at the Miracle Theatre. Over 175,000 patrons visit the Miracle Theatre annually of which 60,000 are children.
