Description
A private, not-for-profit agency founded in 1972, Action for Children is Central Ohio’s source for child care and early learning information, education and advocacy. The agency serves residents of Franklin, Delaware, Union, Madison, Fairfield, Licking, and Pickaway counties. Each year, Action for Children provides information, child care resources and parenting classes to more than 9,000 parents; professional development, quality technical assistance and mentoring to more than 11,000 early childhood educators; and leadership to advocacy efforts aimed at quality child care and early learning environments for all children.
