Advocates for the humane and compassionate treatment of incarcerated women and girls. Works to decrease the reliance on over-incarceration, supporting treatment and restorative justice. Advocates for the release of women who pose no threat to society, especially battered women and prisoners over the age of 65 years old. Conducts public awareness and educational programs.
