Ackerman’s mission is to improve family life through the provision of clinical services, professional and lay training and research about families and family treatment.
Ackerman believes that families matter. Hence we work to empower families in the settings that matter most to them – home, health, school, work, and community.
Ackerman works with families at every stage of life, through urgent crises and with on-going family issues. Ackerman also works in partnership with community-based health, educational, and social service organizations to increase their capacity to serve families.
